These bots were born from activism in the streets and social media with the community [LAS] de sistemas.

The first one, "poroteoAbortoLegalBot", was developed in 2018 and then updated in 2020. It was a Telegram bot that reported the voting status of the Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy project in Argentina during 2018 and 2020 to thousands of people who were marching on the streets and had limited internet access. The data was extracted from a collaborative spreadsheet created by the organization Ecofeminita.

The Twitter bot "@verdesABorteros" was created in 2020 during the pandemic; it posted different colors from the green range along with the hashtag #AbortoLegalYA.
